Welcome to PersonaClone AI. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Device Access (Camera & Photo Library): To utilize the core functionality of our app, we require access to your device's camera or photo library. We only access the specific images you choose to upload for the purpose of generating your AI portraits.

Account Information: When you sign in via Google or Email, we collect your email address and basic profile information to create and manage your secure account.

User Content & Facial Data: We collect the photos you upload and the text prompts you enter. The photos you upload are processed by our AI to map facial features solely for the purpose of generating your requested cinematic output.

Usage Data: We track subscription status, credit balance, app interactions, and crash reports to provide you with the features of your chosen subscription tier and improve app stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and execute the AI image generation service.
  • To manage your account, authentication, and subscription credits securely.
  • To allow you to view, download, and export your generated history.
  • To improve the app experience and troubleshoot technical issues.

Note on AI Training: We do NOT use your personal uploaded selfies or facial data to train our foundational AI models. Your photos are strictly used to execute the specific generation request you initiate.

3. Data Storage, Retention, and Security

Cloud Storage: We use Firebase (a Google service) to securely store your account data, credits, and subscription status in the cloud.

Local Storage: Your generation history and images may be stored in a local database on your device for fast access and offline viewing.

Data Retention: The original selfies you upload are processed securely and are not retained on our active processing servers longer than necessary to complete the image generation. The resulting AI-generated images are stored in your account history until you choose to delete them.

Security: We implement industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

Our app utilizes the following third-party services to function:

  • Google Firebase: For secure authentication and database management.
  • Google AI / Gemini / Vertex AI: For processing image generation prompts and rendering portraits.
  • Google Play Services / Apple App Store: For app functionality, authentication, and processing in-app purchases.

5. Your Rights and Control

We believe in giving you full control over your data. Within the app, you can:

  • Data Export: Export your generation history and account data directly from the Profile settings.
  • Data Deletion: Delete specific generated images from your history at any time.
  • Account Deletion: You can delete your entire account via the app settings. This will permanently remove your account data from our Firebase servers and sever access to your history.

6. Children's Privacy

PersonaClone AI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it immediately.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
